Job Description
We are seeking a highly organised and service-driven Central Reservations Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of the Central Reservations team. The successful candidate will ensure efficient handling of reservations across multiple properties, maximise conversion of enquiries, and maintain exceptional service standards while supporting revenue optimisation.
This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of hotel reservation systems, distribution channels, and guest service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the day-to-day operations of the Central Reservations team.
- Ensure all reservations are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Monitor enquiry conversion rates and implement strategies to maximise bookings.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and support to Reservations Agents to ensure high performance and service standards.
- Assist with managing group bookings and complex reservations.
- Ensure adherence to company standards, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of property offerings, promotions, and packages.
- Liaise with Revenue Management, Sales, and Front Office teams to ensure alignment on availability and rates.
- Monitor reservation channels including phone, email, website, and third-party platforms.
- Prepare reports on reservations performance, pick-up, and team productivity.
- Support training and onboarding of new team members.
- Assist the Central Reservations Manager with operational improvements and process efficiencies.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in hotel reservations
- Experience working with multi-property hotel environments is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of PMS and reservation systems (e.g., Opera, SynXis, or similar).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
