Job Description

As Banquet Manager, you will lead the planning and execution of meetings, celebrations, and social events, ensuring every occasion is delivered with precision, creativity, and exceptional service.
You will oversee the daily operations of the banquet department, working closely with the culinary, sales, and operations teams to ensure events run smoothly from preparation through execution. Your leadership will ensure the team delivers attentive service, seamless coordination, and an engaging atmosphere that reflects the vibrant Avani lifestyle experience.

Key Responsibilities
Manage the daily operations of the banquet department, ensuring all events are executed smoothly and efficiently.
Lead and supervise the banquet team during events, ensuring high service standards and operational excellence.
Coordinate closely with Sales, Events, Culinary, and Operations teams to ensure successful event planning and execution.
Review event orders and operational details to ensure all requirements are properly arranged.
Ensure proper setup, service flow, and breakdown of meeting rooms and event spaces.
Monitor service quality and guest satisfaction during events and respond promptly to feedback.
Manage staffing levels, scheduling, and team development to support event operations.
Control operational costs and monitor inventory for banquet equipment and supplies.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
Contribute to creating innovative and memorable event experiences that align with the Avani brand.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in Food & Beverage or banquet operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
Experience managing hotel events, conferences, weddings, and social functions is highly preferred.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent organizational and coordination abilities with strong attention to detail.
Strong guest engagement and service-oriented mindset.
Ability to manage multiple events and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of banquet service standards, event setup, and operational planning.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Fluency in English required
