Job Description
Oaks Queenstown Shores Resort are looking for a friendly, flexible, and guest-focused Guest Experience Attendant to join our team, someone who can confidently assist across both Front Office and Food & Beverage operations on a full-time basis
This is a hands-on, dynamic role perfect for someone who enjoys variety and thrives in a guest-facing environment. You'll be a key part of our resort hotel experience, ensuring our guests feel welcome, well cared for, and delighted from check-in to check-out and everywhere in between.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests on arrival and handle check-ins/check-outs with efficiency and warmth
- Assist with food and beverage service in our restaurant, bar, or during in-room dining
- Provide local recommendations, handle guest requests, and respond to feedback promptly
- Deliver orders, clear tables, and maintain cleanliness of the F&B area
- Set up and pack down breakfast or function areas as required
- Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure guest needs are met
- Process payments accurately and maintain up-to-date guest records
Shift Details:
- Dual role across front office and food & beverage
- Full-time position with a minimum of 30 hours per week
- Must be available to work across the Christmas and New Year period
- Immediate start is available
Qualifications
To be successful, you will have:
- Previous hospitality experience across front office and/or F&B (preferred)
- A positive, adaptable attitude and excellent communication skills
- RSA Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Confidence in handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- A passion for creating memorable guest experiences
- Availability to work across a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends and evenings
