Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Complex Assistant Finance Controller to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring financial integrity, compliance, and operational efficiency across both properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Ensure 100% accuracy and timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in compliance with hotel brand standards and local regulations.
- General Ledger & Audit: Maintain accurate General Ledger accounts database, oversee smooth year-end closing, and coordinate external audits with zero major findings. Ensure readiness of all schedules and supporting documentation.
- Budget Support: Partner with department heads to achieve budget goals by monitoring and analyzing operating costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising service quality.
- Team Development: Mentor junior finance team members and promote cross-training to build a multi-skilled team capable of supporting all finance functions.
- Internal Controls & Compliance: Strengthen internal controls and ensure full compliance with internal audit, tax, and regulatory standards through periodic audits and gap assessments.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree holder in accounting / finance or above as academic achievements
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and hospitality industry practices. 2 years’ experience in management level experience in hospitality industry is mandatory
- Proven experience in audit coordination and internal control implementation.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Ability to work under pressure
