The Engineering Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative and organizational support to the Engineering Department. The role includes managing staff administration, preparing monthly and weekly reports, maintaining technical data sheets and consumption logbooks, and ensuring all records and files are up to date. The coordinator prepares weekly timesheets, monitors overtime and lieu days, and maintains staff records such as vacation requests and endorsement letters.

This position also involves daily reporting to the Director of Engineering on project status, inquiries, and departmental updates, as well as coordinating with other departments to support requests and work orders. The coordinator answers calls and inquiries from guests, colleagues, suppliers, and contractors, while ensuring professional and courteous service.

Key tasks include obtaining quotations from suppliers and contractors, preparing purchase orders, following up on deliveries, and ensuring invoices are settled on time. The coordinator attends meetings, prepares minutes, and supports the organization of in-house training programs for the Engineering team.
