Job Description
Oaks Sydney North Ryde Suites is excited to expand its housekeeping team and is now hiring for multiple casual positions!
We’re seeking dedicated and detail-oriented individuals who take pride in their work and are committed to providing an exceptional guest experience. If you’re energetic, have a keen eye for detail, and thrive in a team-oriented environment, we’d love to have you on board!
About the Role:
- Maintain high standards by thoroughly cleaning guest rooms, including making beds with precision, vacuuming floors, and cleaning bathrooms to ensure a pristine environment.
- Complete cleaning tasks efficiently within the hours allocated by the company.
- Utilise specialised cleaning equipment and products, provided by us, with full training to ensure effective and safe use.
- Build strong, professional relationships with fellow staff members, guests, and contractor personnel to support a positive and productive work environment.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles will be highly regarded
- Physical fitness and stamina, with the ability to handle repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
- Basic understanding of safe handling and usage of cleaning chemicals and equipment (training will be provided)
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with guests, team members, and contractors
- Positive attitude, team spirit, and a strong work ethic
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and public holidays as required
