We are seeking a skilled and versatile Handyman to join our team in Anantara Stanley and Livingstone Victoria Falls Hotel, Zimbabwe. As a Handyman, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure our facilities are in excellent condition. This role requires a practical approach, attention to detail, and the ability to handle diverse maintenance challenges efficiently.

• Conduct regular inspections of buildings and grounds to identify maintenance needs
• Perform basic carpentry work, including repairs to doors, windows, and furniture
• Handle plumbing tasks such as fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and repairing fixtures
• Carry out electrical work, including replacing light fixtures, outlets, and switches
• Complete painting projects for both interior and exterior surfaces
• Undertake general repairs and maintenance tasks as needed
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies
• Maintain an organized inventory of tools and supplies
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations
• Collaborate with other maintenance staff and contractors when necessary

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in maintenance or a related field
• Proficiency in basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and painting
• Strong skills in general repairs and maintenance
• Expertise in using various hand and power tools
• Knowledge of building systems and preventive maintenance practices
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong time management and organizational abilities
• Good communication skills in English
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or on-call when required
• Relevant trade certifications are preferred
