We are seeking an organized and efficient Laundry Attendant for a fixed-term position in Gaborone, Botswana. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality laundry services while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

• Operate laundry equipment including washers, dryers, and folding machines
• Sort, wash, dry, and fold various types of linens, garments, and other items
• Ensure proper handling of delicate fabrics and follow specific care instructions
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area
• Monitor and report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs
• Manage laundry inventory and restock supplies as needed
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with guests or staff
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies
• Complete laundry tasks efficiently to meet daily quotas and deadlines
• Assist with other housekeeping duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficiency in operating laundry equipment and knowledge of laundering techniques
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specific care instructions
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Basic computer skills for inventory management and record-keeping
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Prior experience in laundry services or hospitality industry preferred
