We are seeking a professional and efficient Kitchen Steward for a fixed-term contract position in Gaborone, Botswana. The ideal candidate will join our hospitality team and play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and providing excellent customer service in our food and beverage operations.

• Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, dining rooms, and food service equipment
• Wash dishes, glassware, and utensils using proper sanitation procedures
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of dining areas and special events
• Ensure proper storage and organization of kitchen supplies and equipment
• Support food service staff by restocking supplies and assisting with food preparation as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during service hours
• Respond promptly and professionally to customer requests and concerns

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in hospitality or food service industry preferred
• Food handling certification preferred
• Proficiency in food and beverage service techniques
• Strong cleaning and sanitation skills
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks
• Keen attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Ability to work in Gaborone, Botswana for the duration of the contract
