Job Description

The scope of this job is to ensure we are competitively represented on our brand and
product on all Digital channels, Online or Digital media. This role will serve the needs of the business, our guests, and our colleagues by developing and implementing key distribution and e-commerce strategies to optimize all the distribution channels and advertising digital channels.

The E-Commerce & Distribution Manager is responsible for defining the strategy and execution of digital media and e-commerce activity for the property. This role will support the hotel's commercial strategy by developing digital marketing and E-commerce programs. Digital marketing efforts will include Search Engine Marketing (including PPC and SEO), Mobile Marketing, Display Advertising, Email Marketing, and Social Media Advertising. This role will also oversee E-commerce activity including the management of the hotel’s websites and mini sites in line with corporate guidelines together with marketing.  This role ensures that the hotel’s e-commerce platforms are effectively managed to increase direct bookings, reduce distribution costs, and enhance the online guest experience.

Qualifications

The preferred candidate must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Hospitality Management, E-Commerce, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality or e-commerce industry.
  • Proven track record of managing online distribution channels, including OTAs, GDS, and direct booking platforms.
  • Experience in revenue management or digital marketing is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of online booking engines, distribution systems, and channel management tools.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in e-commerce platforms, hotel property management systems (PMS), and revenue management systems (RMS).
  • Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with online analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
  • Strong understanding of website optimization techniques and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Adaptability to a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and creativity in developing new revenue-generating
