Job Description

We are currently looking for an experienced Night Guest Service Agent who is passionate about providing excellent customer service to work at both The Jazz Corner Hotel and Oaks Melbourne on Lonsdale Suites on a casual basis. 

The moment a guest steps into our hotel you will make them feel at home with your welcoming and warm presence. You have the important job of guiding guests through their stay, from smooth check-ins and check-outs to insights on the local attractions and eateries, you will be remembered for your superb customer service and positive energy. 

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Greet and register guests upon their arrival, ensuring a warm and professional welcome.
  • Maintain clear and courteous communication with guests throughout their stay.
  • Manage reservations and coordinate booking requests efficiently.
  • Provide attentive assistance and support to guests, addressing their needs and enhancing their experience during their stay.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a hotel environment (Opera experience will be highly regarded)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills and an unwavering positive attitude
  • The ability to successfully provide a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Professional presentation essential
  • Must have availability to work a variety of shifts over 7 days, including weekends and public holidays
