Job Description
People & Culture Assistant will be responsible for:
- To ensure that Minor Hotels HR operational policies and processes are adhered to and continually improved.
- Assist in communication of key messages to all team members & promote employee communication activities and channels, to encourage and enable feedback from them.
- Maintain a positive relationship with team members representatives and ensure any employee grievances are monitored and resolved.
- Coordinate all matters of team members accommodation, facilities, and transport.
- Maintain total confidentiality at all times
- Handles telephone calls as per the hotel standard and takes messages and prioritizes where necessary.
- Prepares letters, documentation from People & Culture as requested by team members.
- Assist the People & Culture Coordinator/Executive with their administrative tasks if required during their absence.
- Ensure a timely communication of special events in all team member related areas.
- Prepare all posters for events.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in People & Culture department; preferably in a similar quality hotel.
- A friendly, outgoing behavior, able to involve and support operation.
- Proactive, resourceful and able to work independently.
- Proficiency in English and computer literate, understanding of HRIS systems. Previous experience in using Fusion would be a benefit.
- Strong in inter-personal and communication skills. High influencing skills and experience in working in multicultural environments.
- Strong in driving results, strong experience and motivation in people management and development.
