Job Description

The Accounts Payable Clerk handles a variety of financial tasks, and clerical support to ensure the smooth operation of the hotel's accounting department according to the company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and process electronic payments and transfers according to company policies
  • Assist in month-end closing & preparations of tax schedules (VAT input, WHT, etc)
  • Maintain accurate and organized accounts payable files.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve invoice and payment issues.
  • Reconcile vendor statements Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to accounts payable.
  • Performing any other related duties (Ad-hoc work) and special projects as assigned

Qualifications

  • Experience in related field at least 1 year
  • Strong data entry skill
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Competence in financial and bookkeeping software is necessary
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and Accounts Payable processes.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Proficiency in English.
