Job Description

The Digital PR Manager is responsible for devising and executing online public relations strategies across multiple global hospitality brands including Minor Hotels, Anantara and Avani.

The successful applicant will plan and publish content across multiple channels including blogs, social media posts, press releases etc. The role also requires the deployment of digital tools to manage global media outreach strategies and database segmentation, as well as monitoring and analysing data from various points such as web traffic, social media engagement and press coverage to refine strategies, track KPIs and report on campaign success.

To be successful in this role, the right candidate should ideally have experience with digital publishing and generating traffic and leads.

  • Plan and maintain editorial calendars for brand blogs and other PR content, and work with hotel teams to maintain a steady flow of fresh and repurposed content.
  • Support in the strategic planning and execution of digital PR campaigns, and collaborate with the social media and marketing teams to promote content through owned and earned channels.
  • Manage press coverage and track metrics analysis on an ongoing basis including weekly updates on goal progress, monthly, quarterly and yearly analysis, etc.
  • Manage and optimise a global CRM database of media and influencer contacts to ensure effective outreach.
  • Plan and optimise press release distribution, including running A/B tests on subject lines and email copy.
  • Support in the writing and editing of press releases, and provide other English copywriting support, as needed.
  • Update content on our press room and blog sites.
  • Prepare eye-catching presentations for global media and agency calls.
  • Advise on SEO optimisation for all PR content (releases, social posts, blogs, etc.)

 

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of news values and what excites the media.
  • Ability to think strategically.
  • Familiarity with SEO and Google Analytics.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills in English.
  • Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress, Sitecore etc.).
  • Experience with CRM / database management.
  • Advanced PowerPoint skills.
  • Proven work experience as a Content Creator, Copywriter or similar role is an advantage.
  • Able to work closely and collaboratively with creative teams, and with other related internal teams.
  • Proficient in all relevant social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok etc.).
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, or similar.
