• Cleaning all food-service utensils, dishes, glassware, pots and pans, and kitchen food-preparation tools either by hand or using an industrial dishwasher
• Sort and stack dishes and glasses
• Sort, polish, stack and store all cleaned items in an organized and safe manner 
• Ensure proper use of all personal protective equipment when using chemicals and that all chemicals are properly stored and organized
• Deep cleaning of kitchen and kitchen equipment
• Sweep and mop of all kitchen floors throughout shift
• Empty kitchen and stewarding garbage, recycling, and compost bins
• Maintain the sanitation of kitchen equipment and other assigned areas in accordance with the Alberta Health Code and Hotel Standards

• Comprehension of written and spoken English
• Previous hotel or stewarding experience an asset
• Able to meet the physical demands of the position
• High attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
• Able to work effectively in a multi-cultural team environment
