Job Description

You will need to make things happen. You will be the engine of the People & Culture team assisting in the key processes that ensure the success of the department. You will be involved with driving team member engagement, learning and development and communication. You will manage administration ensuring smooth communications for the associates and the department. You may well be the first contact for our internal clients so need to be approachable. You will be responsible for ensuring the wellbeing of our team members throughout their journey.

  • Ensure that P&C Anantara operational policies and processes are adhered to and continually improved.
  • Assist in all activities concerning the sourcing & recruitment of staff, performance management, staff discipline, and administration.
  • Manage the P&C operation based on a detailed and up-to-date understanding of local labour law.
  • Supervise and coordinate all matters of work permits and visas.
  • Maintain full records of each person’s employment history, both online and in paper form, and ensure all such information is kept confidential.
  • First point of contact for the Employee Engagement survey
  • Support the implementation of People and Culture technology to ensure employee lifecycle processes are efficient and effective, and there is significant reduction of manual processes.
  • Analyse trends and metrics in partnership with the Manager – People & Culture to develop solutions, programs and policies.

Qualifications

 

  • Relevant Human Resources tertiary qualification plus 2 years’ experience is essential.
  • Ability to work autonomously and make judgement calls to achieve required operational People & Culture outcomes.
  • Previous experience in an HR generalist role.
  • Demonstrated capacity to implement and maintain employee experience processes.
  • Demonstrated high level of capability in the use of Microsoft Office suite, with intermediate skills with Microsoft Excel including the use of formulas and functions a requirement.
  • Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills, analytical and conceptual capabilities
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to set priorities within the context of competing demands.
