Job Description

In this role, you will be based at our Elysia wellness retreat, an iconic property in the Hunter Valley.

As a Cook for Elysia you will assist with the kitchen operations, servicing the Restaurant and assisting with room service cooking.

You will report to the Executive Chef who oversees kitchen operations. This is a casual role, we have approximately 2-3 weekend shifts available. 

Pay grade: $30.10 - $45.82 p/h

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will need to:

  • Hold relevant Certificate III cookery qualifications and previous experience in a similar role.
  • Have knowledge/ experience in the area of healthy food production would be a huge advantage. 
  • Have knowledge and understanding of HACCP and OH&S
  • Be flexible to work a range of different shifts, including weekends.
  • Be able to work under pressure within a dynamic team environment.
  • Be self-motivated and able to work without supervision.
  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
