Job Description

We are thrilled to present an exceptional and rare opportunity for a dynamic leader to join Oaks Cable Beach Resort as our Hotel Manager. This pivotal position is responsible for overseeing all hotel and restaurant operations for the property. 

Reporting to a supportive and seasoned Cluster General Manager, this role offers a remarkable opportunity for an experienced Front Office Manager or Assistant Manager to step into their first Hotel Manager role.  

Key Responsibilities Include: 

  • Draw on your experience, initiative, drive and strategic approach to deliver an exceptional product for our guests
  • Accountability for the day to day profitability, presentation and operation of the Hotel and onsite restaurant
  • Managing all body corporate and guest relations within the property
  • Responsible for making strategic decisions relating to increasing RevPAR for the company
  • Lead a team of hotel professionals, providing guidance, coaching and mentoring
  • Collate and analyse data as required to support strategic decisions

Qualifications

To be successful will require the following skills and experience:

  • Demonstrated operational and financial management experience within a Hotel environment
  • Strategic business acumen and commercial business knowledge
  • A proven track record of maintaining excellent product and service standards whilst maximising revenue and minimising expenses
  • People management in recruiting, driving and supporting teams to ensure a high performing team-culture including an extensive portfolio in successful coaching, mentoring and development
  • The ability to develop and maintain solid working relationships with guests, owners and staff
  • Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication
  • A strong commitment to continuous improvement and learning
  • Ability to reside onsite and manage caretaking responsibilities for the property after hours
