Job Description

  • Highly skilled and dedicated Cloud Application Specialist to join our team with a focus on the deployment of a new Opera Cloud Property Management System (OCPMS) for Minor Hotels.
  • In this role, the incumbent will be responsible for coordinating, managing, and providing training for Minor Hotel properties, ensuring the successful deployment of the PMS.
  • The primary objective will be to guarantee the PMS deployment aligns with Minor Hotels' system and application standards and to provide ongoing support for standard operating procedures.
  • Plan and manage the deployment of the new Hotel PMS system in accordance with Minor Hotels requirements.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including IT, hotel team members, and vendors, to ensure a smooth and efficient deployment process.
  • Oversee the configuration and customization of the OCPMS to meet the specific needs of Minor Hotels.
  • Develop and deliver customized training programs for end users, including hotel team members and management, tailored to Minor Hotels’ requirements.
  • Provide ongoing support and training to ensure a smooth transition to the new PMS.
  • Ensure that the OCPMS deployment complies with Minor Hotels' system and application standards.
  • Perform regular audits and assessments to ensure adherence to standards and regulations.
  • Act as a point of contact for troubleshooting and technical support during and after the OCPMS deployment.
  • Address and resolve any issues or concerns related to the OCPMS promptly and effectively.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of PMS deployment activities, training, and support efforts.
  • Prepare regular progress reports and updates for Minor Hotels’ property team and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing and deploying Hotel Property Management Systems.
  • Experienced working with Opera Cloud or Opera V5.
  • Experience working with Opera Cloud is an added advantage.
  • Strong understanding of hotel operations, processes, and standards.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to customize training materials and programs to meet specific needs.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and providing technical support.
  • Project management skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with compliance and regulatory standards in the hotel industry.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
  • Availability for occasional travel to hotel locations for on-site support.
