Job Description
Join Oaks Cairns Hotel as a full-time Restaurant Manager. This is your opportunity to manage the day-to-day operation of a successful Restaurant and Food & Beverage department.
You will oversee all the aspects relating to the management of the restaurant operations; including financial forecasting, rostering, and implementing promotions to increase food and beverage sales.
You will:
- Create exceptional dinning experiences for our guests
- Liaise with the chefs and head office F&B team on the restaurant menu
- Lead, mentor and train the Food & Beverage Operations team
- Understand, comply and promote health and safety policies and procedures
- Complete all daily, weekly and monthly reporting requirements
Expected Hours- 38 hours per week
Location: 59-63 Esplanade, Cairns City 4870
Annual Salary Range: $70,000- $80,000 (excluding superannuation)
Approved Sponsor: Oaks Hotels & Resorts Suites
Qualifications
To be successful you will have:
- Previous operational experience managing a F&B team
- Previous hotel or resort experience would be highly regarded
- Experience in Rostering, Wage Costs and Budgeting
- Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships
- Current RSA certification and food handling certificate
- High attention to detail
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Availibitly to work 7 day roatating roster
