Job Description

A rare opportunity exists to join our dynamic Commercial Operations team. You will be an integral part of our global expansion. This role will be the vital link between our information technology capacity and our business objectives. You will be working closely with different commercial functions where you will see your data turn into insights and insights turn into actions. You will be expected to be innovative, and help us continue to develop, implement, and constantly refine how we work with the evolving world of data.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and initiate data projects: Deep dive into business challenges and identify opportunities where data can provide valuable insights and solutions. Gather and document data product requirements. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into clear, actionable requirements for data-driven solutions.
  • Design and manage data projects: Break down complex projects into manageable tasks, develop detailed project plans, define scopes and risks of the projects, assign ownership to resources, monitor progress against goals, maintain and enhance the projects.
  • Develop and implement data models and pipelines: Ensure efficiency and automation of data acquisition and/or business processes, cleaning, and transformation to support your projects.
  • Champion data adoption: Be a passionate advocate for data-driven practices. Educate and influence data users to adopt new tools and methodologies that unlock the full potential of data.
  • Stay at the forefront of data trends: Continuously learn and adapt to the evolving data landscape, exploring new tools and technologies to enhance your skillset and impact.

 

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in data analysis and project management.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in data analysis, modeling, or related fields.
  • Fluent in SQL and Python or R.
  • Ability to collaborate with partners and drive analytic projects from end-to-end.
  • Strong analytical competencies and attention to detail.
  • Passion for influencing change and driving adoption.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and autonomously in a creative and agile environment including full data product lifecycle from design to development, testing, and deployment.
  • Excellent creative problem-solving skills.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and staying ahead of the curve in the ever-evolving data landscape.
  • Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Statistics, Computer Science, or other technical disciplines.
  • 3-5 years of experience in the related fields.
