Oaks Hervey Bay Resort & Spa are looking to expand their Housekeeping team, with casual positions available for both In-Room Cleaners and Common Area Cleaners. 

The Housekeeping department plays a vital role in guest satisfaction, ensuring that productivity is achieved on a daily basis and rooms are cleaned to meet the high standards of Minor Hotels.

Daily tasks and duties of the role:

• Cleaning and servicing guest rooms including making beds, washing floors, dusting and vacuuming to a superior standard
• Deep cleaning of kitchens, bathrooms and living areas, applying cleaning agents/chemicals in more specific areas
• Replenishing all amenities
• Cleaning common areas of the hotel
• Assist with any housekeeping enquiries and requests

Required skills and experience:

• Previous Housekeeping or professional cleaning experience 
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment with strict timelines
• A strong focus on delivering exceptional customer experience
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to personalise a service
• Ability to a 7 day rotational roster, including weekends and public holidays
