Job Description

A Chief Baker is responsible for all aspects of the bakery section such as menu plans, operations, recipes, financial responsibility, portion and inventory control, goods and foods quality, and employee supervision. Provides leadership training and hands-on management of the pastry & bakery team members. He must also be able to give orders within their section, as well as reliably carry out orders handed down to them by the Executive Chef.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or any culinary degree
  •  Specialized technical knowledge of baking chemistry
  •  Must have worked at least 7 years of related experience in quantity baking of a variety of products
  •  Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
  •  Strongly committed to teamwork and customer service
  •  Eye for detail to achieve operational excellence
