• To plan and manage all preventative maintenance work, new projects, extensions, and renovations.
• To comply with all statutory and legal requirements for fire, health and safety licensing and provide all necessary safety equipment required for work to be carried out efficiently and safely.
• Direct responsible to implement preventive maintenance of the following utilities major component like , Generator, Desalination Plant, Sewage Treatment Plant , Screw chillers, Boilers ,Incinerator, bottle crusher, Inboard and Out board engine.
• To continually monitor the responsible use of energy in the hotel, and implement measures resulting in energy cost savings.

• To manage the department, in the absence of the Chief Engineer.
• Ensure that all maintenance requests are prioritised and are dealt with in an efficient manner, by technically proficient and guest-friendly technicians
• He/she ideally should be certified in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Must be familiar with the operations and priorities of all other hotel operating departments.
• Advise other colleagues on Health & Safety rules and processes.

• Previous experience in same positon in a Maldives Hotel
• Strong in written and spoken English
• Organized, self-disciplined, focused, accurate.
• Act with personal professionalism and integrity at all times
• Display a positive attitude, even under pressure
