Job Description

The Stewarding and Hygiene Supervisor role plays a significant part in delivering amazing stories to our guests.

Your key responsibilities include: 

  • To lead the Hygiene Team as first-line Hygiene Team Leader, ensure the completion of hygiene schedules to ensure outlets and environment are maintained to a high standard.
  • Ensures that the standards for cleanliness and hygiene of all Food & Beverage related areas are always maintained. All food in working areas should follow food handling techniques, including dating, proper storage, rotation, etc. Maintain basic food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Supervise sanitation, cleanliness, and hygiene as well as the quality level of products and services of the hotel.
  • To be responsible for asset management of all outlet property and facilities of the hotel
  • To be responsible for any investigation of allegations on Food & Beverage related matters
  • Conduct a preventative maintenance inspection monthly.
  • To lead and fully participate in departmental training to improve departmental skills and hotel service levels, providing Team Members the training and resources to take care of our guests.
  • Liaise with pest control company for any pest issues and monitor pest control performance.
  • Responsible for all the municipality license that relates to HACCP and hygiene.
  • Respond to audit reports, and corrective action summaries to ensure work is carried out to an agreed timescale and manner.
  • Responsible for ensuring that floors and work areas are clear of hazards and obstructions.
  • Responsible for the operation of kitchen equipment cleaning. Ensure all equipment and areas around the site are included in the hygiene management systems with relevant controlled documentation and that all cleaning activities are documented.
  • Establish and maintain effective stewarding systems and methods of operation to support all other departments in the hotel.
  • Supervise all Stewarding employees, facilities operations, and costs and ensure the cleanliness of all facilities and equipment.

Qualifications

• Suitable amount of experience in Food and Safety and Stewarding operations
• Previous experience in a similar level
• Passion for leadership and teamwork
• Computer skills to manage inventory count, loss, and breakage report production
• HACCP Certificate Holder
• Knowledge of Hygiene and Safety Procedures
