Job Description

We are currently seeking a Revenue Analyst on a 12 month contract to join our team based in Brisbane, CBD. You will be joining a supportive, collaborative & fun team. Reporting directly to the Regional Revenue Manager, you will be responsible for lining up hotel occupancy and daily rates to maximise profitability for 60+ hotels & resorts across Australia and New Zealand.

You will support Regional Revenue Manager and Director of Revenue Management to implement effective revenue management strategies and make recommendations based on analysis of data.

Key Responsibilities involve:  

  • Assist with and implement effective revenue management strategies
  • Analysis of data in the respective revenue clusters
  • Daily/Weekly/Monthly compiling of statistical data
  • Monitor market conditions through competitor rate analysis
  • Participate and lead daily revenue calls and ROAD meetings with key stakeholders to report on performance and align strategic objectives
  •  Complete any additional responsibilities as assigned by Regional RM’s and Director of RM

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you wil require the following skills, experience and qualifications:

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Tourism Management, Hospitality Management or similar
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Hotel Reservations or Operations
  • Intermediate excel skills
  • Superior attention to detail and time management skills
  • Understanding of revenue management principles within a multinational hotel chain
  • Previous experience using a Revenue Management system (preferred but not essential)
  • Strong reporting, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in handling channel managers like SiteMinder (preferred but not essential)
