Job Description

Oaks Sydney North Ryde Suites is currently seeking a hard-working, dedicated and experienced individual for the role of Housekeeping Team Leader. This is a hands on full-time position, weekend work will be required. 
Our Housekeeping team pride themselves on providing efficient and professional cleanliness of the highest standard maintained throughout our properties.

Qualifications

Your new role as the Housekeeping Team Leader will require the following:

  • Demonstrated experience in Team Leadership of a housekeeping team
  • Previous experience controlling and maintaining budgets, all operating supplies, replacements and consumables
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both verbally and written
  • Time management, deadline and organisational skills
  • Strong eye for detail, and ability to follow procedures and set the standards for cleanliness.
  • Ensure a high standard of cleanliness is evident throughout the property in Housekeeping (in rooms, public and common areas).
  • Build a productive and professional relationship with Housekeeping staff 
  • Support housekeeping team to provide excellent cleaning service
  • Oversee daily on the job training for all cleaning employees
  • Maintain accurate financial, maintenance and inventory records
  • Have an awareness of cleaning agents and chemicals used
  • Applicants must currently live in Australia
