Job Description

Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of everything that needs to be done.  Minor Hotels employees always find new ways to look after the business, their guests, and their colleagues.   Within this, the key responsibilities for this position are:

You will oversee all gardening and landscaping duties within the scope of the hotel, with care and concern for the environment of the property. You will also assist in ensuring that the tools provided by the hotel are used in a safe and professional manner, and that they are maintained and looked after, and properly stored. You will take a leading role in the energy and environmental programs of the hotel, and advocate the use of environmentally friendly products in the work place.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years previous experience gardening/landscaping.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • A positive and energetic attitude.
  • Be able to work under pressure within a dynamic team environment
  • Familiar with landscaping, climates and gardening.
  • Previous Pre-opening experience will be an added advantage
