We are currently seeking a passionate part-time or casual Cook to join the team at Oaks Melbourne on Market Hotel. 

Work with a multicultural team in a compact high-volume kitchen for the Oak and Vine restaurant, bar and room service. No late hours, we close at 10/11pm!

Rate: $27.90 - $33.5836 per hour 

Duties include:

• Preparing ingredients to use in cooking
• Cook delicious meals
• Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served
• Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
• Keep the kitchen organized and clean

To be successful you must:

• Hold relevant cookery qualifications.
• Possess solid a la carte experience.
• Be strong in performing in the hot section.
• Be able to work under pressure within a dynamic team environment.
• Be able to coach and motivate less experienced members of the kitchen team.
• Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Have a positive, proactive attitude and a passion for cooking.
