We are currently seeking a casual Maintenance Officer/Handyperson to join the team at Oaks Port Douglas Resort. You will be responsible for maintaining the presentation of guest rooms and public areas and carrying out repairs within the property.

About the role:

• Undertake general repairs and maintenance as required
• Provide induction and supervision of external contractors
• Implement the preventative maintenance program for each property
• Maintain daily work records and service schedules

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous hands-on building maintenance experience
• Demonstrated experience in plastering and painting 
• An excellent work-ethic and proven ability to work unsupervised
• Good communication skills
