Anantara World Islands Dubai Resort is in the World Islands archipelago, located in the Arabian Gulf, approximately four kilometres off the coast of Dubai in the UAE. The new resort is the first hotel in the South American continent of the World Islands development. The island will be completely dedicated to the resort, with guests able to access by boat in just 15 minutes from the jetty at Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort.

The property will feature 70 keys comprised of suites, beach and pool villas. Villas will have a private pool, an outdoor dining area and direct access to the beach, making the perfect retreat for families and couples. In-room spa treatments, a gym and a kid’s club will also be part of the new resort's amenities. Flora and fauna are abundant on the island, so it is truly a place to escape the city and immerse in nature.

Dining options will include a Mediterranean al fresco restaurant and Arabic-Indian specialty dining, perfect for romantic dinners and offering barbecues on the beach. In addition, freshly caught seafood will be prepared by a talented in-house team of chefs who will bring the finest fare to the island. A stylish bar lounge will offer magnificent panoramic views of the Dubai skyline, including the famous landmarks Burj Khalifa and Burj al Arab, even more special at sunset.

Job Description

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

o    Responsible for all administrative work related to the maintenance and Associate issues in the accommodation.

o    Update regularly the accommodation plan and rooms inventory.

o    Responsible for incidents in the accommodation and report immediately to Human Resources department.

o    Handling associate problems and concerns related to their rooms and privacy.

o    Coordinating with the contracting company concerning all maintenance issues.

o    Coordinating with Cleaning Company to maintain the hygiene standards in order to provide our associate a healthy environment.

o    Daily patrol in the accommodation for anything unusual to be noted and copied to Human Resources Office.

o    Following up with the purchasing on pending items related to the associate accommodation.

o    Update all stores in the accommodation and responsible for all Purchase Request regarding items in shortage.

o    Taking a part with Human Resources team in welcoming the new associate & the required arrangement for them as per the onboarding process.

o    Responsible for arranging rooms for new associate (all grades) as per Hotel Standards.

o    Handling & controlling associate movements inside the accommodation.

o    Preparing Inventory List for all flats and accommodation rooms.

o    Responsible for all arrangements and cooperation within the hotel’s departments related to accommodation, activities, campaigns, etc.

o    Looking after staff when it comes to their health and safety by reporting any urgent matters.

o    To be ready at any time in case of emergency to assist and provide support.

o    Regular Check on:

o    First Aid Box

o    Fire Exists

o    Fire Alarm Panel

o    Outsiders in/out

General Responsibilities

o    To promote efficiency, confidence, courtesy and an extremely high standard of social skills.

Occasional Responsibilities

o    To report any equipment failures/problems to the Maintenance Department.

o    Pass any maintenance requests to the Maintenance Department.

o    To participate in any Training/Developments schemes as recommended by senior management.

o    To assist the Duty Manager in any task outlined/detailed by him/her.

o    To comply with any reasonable request made by management to the best of your ability.
