Job Description

The Guest Service Representative is responsible for providing excellent customer service to guests and inviting potential guests through Events to attend a personal preview at our onsite/offsite sales gallery and offer a holiday discovery packages/day tour preview offer. Secondly the individual is also responsible for generating qualified leads for the company. All Guest Service Representative represent Anantara Vacation Club in a courteous, enthusiastic and diligent manner.  All guests that are invited on a holiday package preview will be required to attend a 120-minute sales presentation on the benefits of shared ownership with Anantara Vacation Club. Guests must be invited with full understanding of the offer and adheres to the Details of Participation.

 

Key Responsibilities:

·        Contact potential guests at events or assigned locations to sell a discounted holiday packages with well appearance and clear presentation.

·        Follow a scripted presentation to ensure accurate communication to potential guests and to maximize the number of preview presentations sold

·        Employee must have excellent customer service skills as well as problem solving skills to approach the guest. The Employee must also have sales skills such as overcoming objections and persuade the guests to attend the preview presentation.

·        Good product knowledge in term of package promotions and hotel location and facilities and benefit to the guests

·        Support the customer’s decision to purchase and travel on the Holiday Package by sharing benefits and reinforcing the fun and rewarding aspects of the package, or book a time slot for an enjoyable new vacation lifestyle preview.

·        Onsite/offsite manages lucky draw activities; generate interests from target guests, guide them to fill in a lucky draw tickets to gain an opportunity of winning a vacation as prize

·        Collect all the leads (lucky draw tickets) from events/box programs, key in into file and upload into system, follow internal working process and under supervisor’s guidance

·        Perform clerical or other reasonable duties requested by Director of Marketing, Shanghai.

Qualifications

·        Good sense of customer service, problem solving ability and communication skills

·        Good adaptability to variable working shift bases on actual business needs

·        Acceptability of standing to work at assigned location, the transportation of the work should be borne by individual

·        Self-disciplined and ability to work as a productive team member at a reasonable pace

·        Ability to work as a team player and reach performance expectations as provided by SOP

·        Well groomed and maintain a high level of professionalism and presentable appearance at all times

·        Be motivated by working hard to achieve team performance target

·        Ability to work under pressure, keep work quickly and accurately in a high volume environment
