Job Description

We are looking for a talented Social Media Executive who has strong (written and verbal) communications skills in Chinese and English. The candidate will be responsible for driving brand awareness and conversion for the Chinese market.

As part of the Social Media team, the candidate must be updated with the latest digital technologies and Social Media trends, as well as support the team with any team tasks listed below.

Candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our brand presence using Chinese Social Media platforms and ensure maximum brand awareness, engagement, and conversion.

Qualifications

  • Strong (written and verbal) communications skills in Chinese and English.          
  • Skills in photography and videography is a plus.  
  • Skills in photo editing tool such as Canva and Lightroom.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing or any related field.
  • At least 2-3 years experience in marketing communications or Social Media 
  • Demonstrate the ability to understand key social media metrics and KPIs. 
  • Strong proofreading and editing skills. 
  • Sound knowledge of paid Social Media advertising is a plus. 
  • Ability to write catchy content in Chinese 
  • Excellent ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize them. 
  • In-depth understanding of various Social Media platforms and their algorithm changes. 
  • A keen eye for details. 

Additional Information

  • Drive and manage overall Social Media strategy, direction, and calendar. 
  • Create, develop, and manage content across multiple Chinese Social Media platforms such as WeChat, Weibo, Little Red Book etc. to maximize brand exposure. 
  • Conduct content analysis and optimize performance. 
  • Work closely with internal and external teams to ensure the smooth and timely execution of Social Media Campaigns. 
  • Interact with customers and other stakeholders via the company’s Social Media platforms. 
  • Remain updated with marketing trends in China. 
  • Any other tasks assigned. 

Corporate Social Media – content creator, coordinator

  • Design and develop engaging Social Media content.
  • Create content to drive brand awareness and quality online traffic to brand.com.  
  • Respond to comments on Social Media posts under brand Social Media platforms. 
  • Monitor key Social Media metrics.
  • Analyze Social Media trends and create reports.
  • Remain updated with the latest Social Media trends and technologies. 
  • Any other tasks assigned.
