Job Description

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Officer/Handyperson to join the Oaks Port Stephens Pacific Blue Resort. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining the presentation of guest rooms and public areas and carrying out repairs within the property. The position is part-time with a 3 days per week rotating roster, must be available Monday to Sunday.

About the role: 

  • Overall maintenance of the resort pool & spa to ensure the facilities are safe and presentable 
  • Undertake general repairs and maintenance as required;
  • Ensure all common areas are clean and tidy
  • Provide induction and supervision of external contractors;
  • Implement the preventative maintenance program for each property;
  • Maintain daily work records and service schedules

Qualifications

Successful applicants will have:

  • Experience in the maintenance and servicing of pools and spas
  • Previous hands-on building maintenance experience
  • A passion for delivering exceptional service
  • Strong time management skills
  • An excellent work-ethic and proven ability to work unsupervised
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications
