Job Description

Area E-Commerce & Digital Marketing Advertising Executive Maldives is responsible for the execution of Digital Marketing and eCommerce activity for Minor Hotels situated in the Maldives area or other designated destinations.

This position will support department heads in maintaining digital marketing and eCommerce programs. Digital marketing efforts for this role include primarily Social Media Advertising & Email Marketing but also PPC, SEO, Mobile Marketing, Display Advertising, Meta search advertising, Content management on various platform and OTAs/Business listings marketing initiatives.

Work closely with Property Marketing Communication team and Area E-Commerce & Digital Marketing Manager Maldives to develop and use relevant audiences targeting and media buying strategy for all social media advertising campaigns.

Create Campaigns, Ad sets and Ads in Facebook Ads Manager and work closely with the Assistant E-Commerce & Digital Content Manager Maldives to ensure landing pages are ready to welcome ad traffic including for translated versions.

Coordinate with Properties Marketing Heads and provide guidance/assistance to develop ads copywriting as well as to select the visual content for the different ad formats (single images, stories, carousels, instant experiences, videos).

Ensure tracking, custom conversions, domain verification, aggregated event measurement is all setup properly in collaboration with the social media corporate team.

Manage monthly allocated budgets and keep track of the spending for every hotel in the destination

Develop, measure, and assist in executing social media activity. Assist Properties Marketing Heads to roll out strategies to increase Fan Base, on all social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LINE...)  

Own the creation and blast of monthly property newsletters using template and guidelines provided by the corporate marketing team and coordinating with properties to gather all relevant content. Ensure brand consistency and display of the emails on various devices.

Collaborate with properties to improve profiles quality and increase the number of emails collected

Handle assigned content management tasks on Brand.com, OTAs and other business listings such as TripAdvisor, Google My Business, Holiday Check…

Delivering accurate and fast to market implementation of the offers and branding advertisement campaigns on social media across all social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, SnapChat, LINE).Reporting of social media advertising performance on a weekly basis providing a breakdown of the results by channels and hotels combined with supporting and relevant Google Analytics data.

Ensuring all related invoices are paid and cross charged to the different properties in a timely manner.

Prepare monthly property newsletters using template and guidelines provided by the corporate marketing team. Coordinate with properties to gather all relevant content. Handle translations with partner agency when relevant. Ensure the correct display of the emails on various devices.

Prepare Performance Reports of monthly email marketing activities providing insights such as email sent, bounces, unsubscribed, marked as spam as well as opening & click rate. This report should also include conversion and Google Analytics data.

Coordinating with hotels, partner agencies and in some instance the corporate teams in the execution of others eCommerce activities for all Minor Hotel properties in Maldives and to assist in implementing new initiative (PPC, Display, EDM, TA, Affiliate Marketing, Brand.com content input, OTAs & Business listing content management) as assigned by the Area Director of E-Commerce.

Ensure Google Data studio dashboard and other ad accounts are accessible and leveraged for decision making.

Develop, measure, and optimize ROI on all social media traffic acquisition channels.

Proactively check reported figures and identify opportunities

Make sure that billing and invoices are paid in a correct and timely manner for business partners preserving partner relationships and business continuity.

Identify , articulate, and rationalize insights and recommendations to senior management.

The successful candidate will be based in Bangkok. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any related filed.
  • Online advertising experience in the hotel or travel verticals.
  • Meta Blueprint Certification Preferred
  • Very good written & verbal English is essential.
  • Understating of Search Engine Optimization and Pay-per-clicks tactics.
  • Understating of Social Media (Tripadvisor, HolidayCheck, Twitte,Facebook)
  • Preferable experience in using Content Management Systems.
  • Preferable experience managing large advertising budgets and numerous campaigns using Meta Ad manager
  • Preferable experience in OTA, reservations, or usage of channel management.
  • Analytical skill a must. Ability to work well under pressure and effectively handle multiple, concurrent demands and appropriately prioritize responsibilities.
  • Project management skills, including the ability to manage details through to completion and ensure project deadlines are met.
  • Preferable proficient web analytics skills and ability to analyze website performance data (i.e. financial, statistical and /or performance).
  • Very good use of words, PowerPoint, excel is essential.
