Job Description

The Marketing & Social Media Executive will develop and execute social media strategies to maximize brand awareness and engagements at the brand level in key social media channels. He/She will work with strategic partners to drive fan engagements and online business in order to achieve brand level goals, while ensuring voice-and-tone and social content are aligned with our brand values.

Role Responsibility: 

  • Manage social media communities on key platforms
  • execution and optimization – to maximize brand value and drive business impact
  • Identify threats and opportunities in user generated content surrounding the business
  • Proofread, copy edit and write social media content that is engaging to our customer base and still comply with branding guidelines
  • Develops and executes aggressive social media campaigns at the corporate level for social media channels to drive fan acquisition and maximize engagement
  • Manage third party agencies for campaign delivery, ensuring quality and timely deliverables
  • Have an attention to detail from campaign execution & measurement to managing the process (budgets, payment, workflow)
  • Works with corporate PR team to manage blogger outreach to build an active key opinion leaders network to drive brand advocacy
  • Works with the corporate digital marketing team to ensure that the social media channel is appropriately engaged for corporate advertising activities
  • Maintain a personal up-to-date knowledge on all Anantara & AVANI product and service offerings, and the products, services, rates and new developments of key competitors, and an awareness of general industry trends.
  • Identify digital media technology and social network marketing trends and how they can improve brand favorability, improve consumer experience and company’s investment on social media and content marketing

Qualifications

  • Relevant Diploma/Degree in marketing and/or digital communication
  • Minimum 2  years of digital and social media experience in global PR firms or specialized social media agencies
  • Exhibits the ability to jump from the creative side of communications to analytical side to be able to demonstrate ideas are analytically sound
  • Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of Social Media platforms, their respective user behaviors and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios
  • Is a Team player with the confidence to take the lead and guide other team member, when necessary, on content development, campaign ideation, and online reputation management
  • Ability to successfully function in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong organizational, time management, communication, process & result oriented and possess problem-solving skills working with multiple teams/agencies/vendors.
