To ensure that the hotel facilities, staff and guest areas, and guest rooms are maintained in working order through leading the team in the delivery of maintenance, security, health and safety, and environmental services.
 Accountable for the proactive and preventative maintenance of all resort property within budget requirements, including capital expenditure, major repairs and maintenance on plant machinery, infrastructure, buildings, furniture, fixtures and fittings, including the warehouse
 Effectively manage departmental managers and employees so as to maximize their potential and productivity levels
 Controlling the budget and related costs
 Ordering of equipment and suppliers in line with budget
 Supervising external contractors
 Liaising with suppliers and contractors
 Responsible for the maintenance of fixed assets
 Responsible for the health and safety of all employees and Hotel guests; in accordance with regulatory requirements
 Responsible for the resort environmental programme
 Responsible for security operations within the resort
 Compliance with company policies and procedures
 Procurement within agreed Company standards
 Facilitating project maintenance with particular reference to refurbishments

Member of Engineering Institute of Zambia
 8 or more years’ management experience in a repairs and maintenance environment
 Mechanical Engineering experience would be advantageous
 Experience in managing a resort environment is advantageous
 Hospitality experience preferred
 Health and Safety experience required
 Computer literacy

Full grade twelve certificate

Bachelar's degree in Electrical
