Job Description

We have a great opportunity for Network Administrator to join our team on a full-time basis at our head office located in Maroochydore, Sunshine Coast. 

As the Network Administrator you will report to the Group Director of IT and be responsible for the efficient administration and day to day maintenance of Minor Hotels network systems. You’ll perform day to day maintenance of servers and network hardware, evaluate new technologies, perform patching and compliance activities, respond to incidents and assist with project works efficiently and effectively. 

Responsibilities

  • Perform administration of network infrastructure devices including: routers, switches and firewalls;
  • Maintaining VPN’s, Switch Router and Firewall configurations
  • Assist in the pro-active monitoring and maintenance of all existing network infrastructure
  • Provide advise on configurations, security and enhancements for the network
  • Maintain a relationship with ISP Vendors for connections
  • Manage and carry out projects as designated from Management
  • Manage SIP and Telephony migrations

Qualifications

To be successful you will need:

  • Cisco CCNA Certification or equivalent well regarded
  • Experience using Cisco, HP and Fortigate products
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in network troubleshooting including, switching, routing, firewalls, VPN and network security.
  • Level of Autonomy & Leadership
  • Microsoft Server Administration advantageous
  • VMWare network administration advantageous
