Job Description

 

  • Skills in photography and videography, is a must to help create content calendars for the required channels. A portfolio of work will be required to be presented as part of the interview process.
  • Responsible for planning, implementing, managing and monitoring the resort’s social media strategy in order to increase brand awareness, improve marketing efforts and increase sales
  • Develop, implement and manage the social media strategy and execute the monthly social media calendars, social media advertising campaigns together with the department head.
  • We expect you to be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to express our company’s views creatively.
  • Ultimately, you should be able to handle our social media presence ensuring high levels of web traffic and customer engagement and return on ad spends.
  • Define most important social media KPIs with the department head and execute them successfully.
  • Measure the success of every social media campaign and update the required stakeholders regularly via reports.
  • Knowledge to use the social platforms, Sprout Social and key listening and analytical tools.
  • Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics.
  • Undertake all administration of marketing activities including upkeep of Media data base Image library as per new naming guidelines.
  • Image alignment for promotions and create initial draft of posters / review to improve quality of communication and in line with price point of offer
  • Image sending to ad hoc media requests
  • Social media monitoring and posting – including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and others - comments and messages need to be monitored within maximum of 2-324 hours
  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken, with the main objective of social media management, marketing collaterals and campaigns, liaison with media, writing of press material if required, writing of internal communications, marketing copywriting and proof-reading.
  • Support in key marketing campaigns, collateral and PR management.
  • Assistance in tracking, ordering and maintaining stock levels of collateral, giveaways and other marketing procurement
  • Prepare documentation for site inspections for media, including complimentary forms for signature, boat transfers, liaison with F&B and Front Office departments and hosting as required.
  • Maintain Press Kits and Sales Kits for media and sales related collateral. 
  • Assist with management of brand photography shoots on property, liaison with operational departments during the shoot.
  • Conduct market research on competitor hotels within the industry that is seen as relevant and delivering competitive advantage to the brand.

Qualifications

·         Skills in photography and videography. A portfolio of work will be required to be presented as part of the interview process

·         Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, marketing communication or any related field

·         At least 3-5 years’ experience in marketing communications

·         Experienced in writing and editing proposals and publications.

·         Strong (written and verbal) communications skills.

·         Excellent English skills. Professional working capability in a 2nd language would be advantageous.
