Job Description

·         Wellcoming and greeting customers according to the standards.  

·         Attends the souk. Deals with all customers in a warm and friendly manner and positive nature.

·         Ensuring the souk is secure at all time and locked before operation hours over, and that all received goods are stored in their correct location.

·         To control stock in the shelves by means of stock rotation, and keeping appropriate par stock levels.

·         To conduct inventory on a weekly basis and submit report to the Guest Service Manager.

·         To list down all necessary items to be purchased. Do the purchasing on a regular to ensure that the shop has an adequate supply of merchandise.

·         Ensure that the shop is clean and tidy at all times.

·         Make recommendations to the Guest Service Manager regarding stock movement and also report on obsolete/expired stocks. Identify slow and fast moving items.

·         To provide assistance to the Front Office Department as required.

·         To be familiar with Micros system and Credit card machines

·         Receive cash and provide correct change, operate the cash register

·         Balance cash receipts

·         Print and record receipts

·         Ensure that all SOP are being followed
