Job Description

  1. Job Purpose:

The IT Manager – Workplace Technologies is responsible for the design, build and improve of the company’s Workplace Technologies environment, which includes Microsoft O365, Microsoft Teams (add-on, Power Apps deployment) with large conference hosting and solutioning, Microsoft Form, Microsoft SharePoint, Infrastructure & Security related, Desktop management (windows, apple, android), and Endpoint security related

This further includes the hardware standards, engineering, and security within the standard desktop platform, architecture and design of the software distribution infrastructure, Mobile Device Management systems. Additionally, researches, evaluates, and provides documented recommendations for new technologies and tools and is responsible for the ownership and understanding of the common desktop applications. The team works through highly complex tasks and the application of advanced IT infrastructure knowledge, skills, practices and procedures. Further, the team must be diligent with company-wide governance, continual process improvement, and applying industry Best Practices.

  1. IT Manager – Solution & Product is a first-line interface with Key IT Users, Partners, Vendors to lead business activities and assignments to success and manage the team responsible for the Workplace Technologies environment, which includes Microsoft O365, Microsoft Teams (add-on, Power Apps deployment) with large conference hosting and solutioning, Microsoft Form, Microsoft SharePoint, Infrastructure & Security related, Desktop management (windows, apple, android), and Endpoint security related
  2. This further includes the hardware standards, engineering, and security within the standard desktop platform, architecture and design of the software distribution infrastructure, Mobile Device Management systems
  3. Evaluate and refine current status of projects, new pipeline and resource assignment/utilization, implement change to increase effectiveness, and ensure alignment to business partner strategies and goals
  4. Ensuring key human resource functions are conducted, including interviewing, selection / hiring, conducting performance assessments, and more
  5. Work closely with IT Cloud & Infrastructure team, IT Security team, IT Data Privacy team, IT Core systems team, IT BU team to ensure changes was communicated and implemented according to required business and IT technical specifications and that procedures were followed for all production system change
  6. Work closely with user when the regular IT service request and incident happen.  to understand business impact and escalate as needed. Provide resolution that can be quickly to correct the issues.
  7. Service as the1st line customers who need Workplace Technologies Solution and Product support – via telephone, email, collaboration tool

  1. Strong working knowledge on Workplace Technologies – Solution & Product which includes Microsoft O365, Microsoft Teams (add-on, Power Apps deployment) with large conference hosting and solutioning, Microsoft Form, Microsoft SharePoint, Infrastructure & Security related, Desktop management (windows, apple, android), and Endpoint security related
  2. Excellent in Communication skills, Presentation skills
  3. Good at principle of Project Management with experiences
  4. Ability to work with various personality to lead for success 

Qualifications:

 Experience managing Human Resource activities, including interviewing, selection / hiring, and conducting performance assessments

  • Solid knowledge in IT leading practices, methodologies processes, and control framework, including but not limited  
  • Identify and proactively manage problems and minimize their impacts
  • Strong working knowledge of network technologies and services including:

Unified Communications

Microsoft Windows Operating Systems

Windows OS subsystems - process, storage, memory, file systems, etc.

Microsoft SCCM 2012

 

  •  Development and deployment of unattended operating system installations for workstations/desktops/laptops with an in-depth understanding of hardware-independent imaging capabilities
  •  Desktop virtualization technologies (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure and Application Virtualization)
  •  Desktop security and configuration management through Group Policy Objects (GPO)
  •  Mobile Device Management solutions

Education:

  • A bachelor's degree is required; preferred field of study in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or other IT-related area, Business or related

 Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience working in an enterprise-size IT environment
  • 5+ years of operational leadership experience, including the management of resources (internal and external staff); financial management; developing and delivering operating forecasts; ensuring operational effectiveness
