Job Description

Note that this is not an exhaustive list of everything that needs to be done. The key job responsibility is to always look after the business, and our colleagues. Within this, the key responsibilities for this position are:

  • To assist in all activities concerning team members, employment contract administration, performance management, medical insurance, and administration.
  • To assist in all activities concerning the planning and delivery of Payroll including all the requirements of the audits to be managed and complied upon.
  • To maintain the online P&C database, including all P&C data update on Shared drive and Share point and also updated status of the Success factor to be coordinated across all sites.
  • To implement P&C operational policies and processes, ensuring that these are adhered to and continually updated.
  • To coordinate the communication with all department of Anantara Dhigu Resort, Anantara Veli Resort and Naladhu Private Island
  • To implement corporate policies and procedures on compensation and benefits, including approved incentive schemes on a regular basis to be rolled out.
  • Assist in communication of key messages to all team members. Promote team members communication activities and channels, to encourage and enable feedback from team members.
  • Provide P&C data as required to other departments as needed and overall monthly reporting such as organization chart, monthly P&C report and manpower report. are submitted as per time line. 
  • Assist in preparing Team Member Engagement Survey and also action plans are collected from all departments/sites.
  • To be in charge of arranging monthly birthday gather, celebration, and CSR activities.
  • To assist P&C team in purchasing and reimbursement.
  • To Take charge in recruitment and organize interview schedules for shortlisted candidates and as well as screening potential candidates.

Qualifications

  • 1 year previous experience in People & Culture
  • Understanding of P&C policy and process.
  • Good understanding of Maldives labour law.
  • Full understanding of work permit/visa requirements for expatriates in Maldives.
  • Aptitude to learn and become expert in Fusion as our P&C system
  • Strong written and spoken English
  • Organized, self disciplined, focused, accurate.
  • Act with personal professionalism and integrity at all times
  • Display a positive attitude, even under pressure
