Job Description

  • Gives regular feedback to Executive Housekeeper regarding in-house/guest complaints, property damages, required repairs and maintenance requirements.

 

  • Identifies, reports any required repairs and maintenance requirements.   

 

  • Conducts team member briefings and provides pertinent information and updates for associates.    

 

  • Monitors work allotment and corresponding shift schedules.   

 

  • Ensures that all guest rooms and public areas are cleaned and well-maintained.      

 

  • Conducts regular linen inventory.

 

  • PPE inventory in daily basis

 

  • Maintains the stock level of all pantries and responsible for ordering the required items. 

 

  • Identifies the training needs of associates within the department and responsible for training associates.   

 

  • Monitors guest requests, comments, resolves guest complaints and ensures that these are all acted upon.

 

  • Assists in the delivery of Gateway Products and Departmental Service Standards.  

 

  • Assists the Departmental Manager in controlling operating costs.

 

  • Assists the Departmental Manager in providing quality training and coaching to ensure consistent delivery of product and service standards.      

 

  • Assists the Departmental Manager in performance appraisal at least every six months.

 

  •  Ensures compliance with Company rules, statutory and legal requirements for fire, health, and safety.

 

  • Contributes positively to sales activities and maximize sales opportunities including being knowledgeable to Hotel products, services, and facilities.

 

  • Renders assistance and cooperation to colleagues and other associates of other departments in a prompt, caring, and helpful manner.
