Job Description

  • Improve capacity planning processes, leveraging new concepts and technologies, to further drive sustainable improvements and make supply chains ready for the future
  • Define success metrics, frequency and cadence by which to measure and deliver priority goals and capacity planning improvements the corresponding activities.
  • Partner with business divisions and sites to develop and implement capacity planning process improvements.
  • Act as a process leader by providing process diagnostics, improvement proposals, analytical insight and perspective.
  • Develop focused improvement plans.
  • Work closely with business division and manufacturing site supply teams to reduce back orders, exceed customer expectations and optimally allocate resources and assets to meet business objectives
  • Manage the Chemical planning team, including setting group and employee goals, providing formal and informal feedback, and coaching direct reports towards high performance
  • Ensure stakeholder acceptance and collaboration with supply chain planning and IBP process
  • Develop strong collaborative relationships with Marketing, Sales, Finance, Devices, and Care
  • Ensure the integration supply chain planning function into the overall Supply Chain business planning and monitoring process
  • Address demand and supply planning issues elevated by Demand Planners for resolution and escalate with our vendors/ customer as required
  • Plans, implements and controls the efficient, effective flow and storage of goods, services, and related information from the point of origin to the point of consumption to meet internal customers' requirements
  • Develop, monitor, and present the key performance metrics for the Planning organization
  • Develop periodic budgets and operational plans as required by corporate policy
  • Develop, analyze, and communicate weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual unit and value forecasts
  • Identify and analyze trends and influencing variables and incorporate analysis in forecasting, inventory planning, and stocking strategies/processes
  • Deliver inventory performance according to days on hand (DOH) targets (including safety stock levels) that are approved by management for all planned SKU’s
  • Drive processes for product/order life cycle changes such that risks are mitigated for excess and obsolete inventory, and efforts to optimize reuse and return value of such
  • Provides input/direction to assist in new vendor or contract strategies, processes, and operational requirements implementation
  • Participate actively in supplier management, measurement, and process improvement programs at an enterprise level
  • Develop and present status / results to Supply Chain Leadership Team
  • Lead in the development, implementation and periodic updating of supply, demand and materials management tools, procedures, processes and policies
  • Lead weekly collaborative planning, forecasting, and replenishment discussions with wireless device and accessory suppliers ensuring alignment and operational efficiency

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain / Engineering / Business Administration or related fields (MBA or graduate degree preferred)

Experience:

  • 15+ years of experience in the areas of Supply Chain management, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Planning and execution
  • STRONG Capacity planning expertise
  • Proven expertise in capacity planning processes, advanced concepts, tools and multiple ERP systems
  • Strong Integrated supply chain acumen
  • Experience working with complex global multi-national manufacturing footprints and experience enhancing supply chain performance
  • Strong knowledge of multiple supply chains, e.g. custom solutions to mass-market supply chains
  • Strong commercial orientation with a proven ability to partner with managers and operating teams
  • Strong strategic planning and analytical skills
