KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Participate in the smooth running of the Sports & Recreations department on a day to day basis to achieve the highest possible levels of guest satisfaction.
To have a complete knowledge of the products and services offered by the hotel, and in particular all the sports and leisure activities and equipment in the hotel.
Achieve positive outcomes from Guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
Ensure that Supervisor and Manager is kept fully aware of any relevant feedback from guests and, or, other departments.
Assist with the execution of the Anantara Children programme.
To comply with all health and safety codes in the sports and leisure activities of the hotel, and in particular to take full and complete care of children.
Ensure that all equipment is well maintained in a safe environment.
Monitor the success of the activities programs through the number of participants per scheduled event and through guests’ feedback. Report feedback to Supervisor or Manager in order to make the necessary adjustments to maintain top quality, fun filled and original programs for hotel guests.
Circulate clear information to guests of the events offered by the hotel in conjunction with the Anantara Concierge.
Keep all equipment clean and well maintained, in gym area, sport activities, water sports and other in-house activities.
In the gym, ensure guests receive the highest standard of service and report any guest concerns to Supervisor or Manager.
Promote services of the Sports and Recreation department such as kids clubs, group fitness classes and gym memberships as well as other services available within the hotel and spa to ensure guests enjoy the maximum benefits during their stay.
In the gym, maintain a file system to ensure record of guests’ information for proper follow-up on fitness goal progress.
Maintain a strong relationship and good communication with all colleagues and other departments.
Ensure proper accounting procedures are followed when collecting of charging fees for Sports & Recreations
Be prepared to assume other Sports & Recreations duties or responsibilities as requested by management.
Assist in driving revenues for the department.

- Minimum 2 years experience in hospitality industry
- Preferably Arabic Speaking
