Job Description

1. Job Purpose:

The Digital Innovation Manager – Digital Innovation Collaboration Program will be working in a newly created team aims to identify and deliver emerging technology solutions to the Minor businesses. The program is designed to provide a structured and secure environment for Minor Group to understand and apply suitable emerging technologies to make an impact on Minor business. He/she will be working closely with both internal stakeholders and the start-up ecosystem as the program takes a multi-party collaborative approach, balancing external and internal thinking to cultivate and apply innovation within Minor to our most strategic business processes.

2. Main Responsibilities:

2.1    Internal Strategic Positioning & Business Insight

·         Work with business managers to understand business directions and constraints to develop thesis based on emerging technology-enabled solutions

·         Prepare reports and presentations to management and business managers as required

2.2    Digital Innovation Market Benchmarking & Strategic Opportunities - External    

·         Scout, identify and profile emerging technologies from start-up ecosystem

·         Build relationship and robust ecosystem with start-up, CVC, government networks

2.3    Piloting of new innovation ideas and Project Management

·         Manage the process of collaboration with business managers and start-ups to pilot and implement technologies through to partnership stage

·         Monitor progress of applied solutions and ensure collaboration with business units progress according to benefits proposed

·         Assist in commercial, financial and legal due diligence as required

Qualifications

Experience;

·         Experience in commercial roles (investment, strategic partnership) within a large, global organization an advantage

·         Strategic thinker with business judgment

Work-related Skills;

·         Deep curiosity for all things digital and demonstrate ability to learn new technical concepts and solutions quickly as well as organize complex concepts and  technologies into an easy-to-understand story and solution

·         Entrepreneurial spirit and passion to work within a fast-paced, rapidly-changing environment. Bias towards action.

·         Keen sense of change, innovation and agility concepts with an understanding of enterprise pragmatism

·         Strong organisational, communication skills and attention to details

·         Project management skills; ability to handle multiple initiatives

·         Professional proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint necessary; iOS Keynote a plus

·         Excellent command of spoken and written English language
