Job Description

Overall purpose

 

·        Lead and manage GL team according to the company’s policies.

·        Continuously seek to identify and implement the process improvement and systems related to Accounting.

·        Develop team members and build organisation.

 

 

Individual objectives

 

·        Monitor month-ended closing to be on time and accurate.

·        Improve process of GL to work more efficiently.

·        Develop and regularly update the Group Accounting Policies.

·        Arrange the regular meeting with Head of BU Finance to update the works and co-solve any issues.

·        Manage and close the auditor issues.

·        Build the relationship with the Revenue Department and also guide GL manager for tax refund process.

 

Main Duties:

 

Lead and manage GL team according to the company’s policies

 

·         Direct GL activities to be in compliance with the Accounting Standards i.e. Thai GAAP, IFRS and MINT Group Accounting Manual in order to provide the accurate, reliable and timely financial information.

·         Develop accounting manual to users.

 

Continuously seek to identify and implement the process improvement and systems related to Accounting.

 

·         Identify improvement opportunities for all GL processes and systems.

·         Lead team to develop and communicate to relevant parties improvement initiatives.

·         Supervise team to realise improvements and report progress.

 

 

People development and organisation building

 

·         Ensure high levels of motivation, morale and teamwork among responsible team.

·         Ensure effective cooperation of GL team with other GSSC Accounting team and BUs.

·         Coach direct reports and key talent to deliver on individual performance.

·         Develop coaching culture and provide internal training of accounting.

Qualifications

Education:

·         Bachelor degree in Accounting

·         Master’s Degree and CPA are preferable

Qualifications:

·         At least 10 years working experience in accounting/auditing.

·         Strong leadership and managerial skills.

·         Strong in inter-personal, communication and problem solving skills

·         Proficient in English.

·         Demonstrate continuous professional development

Experience:

·         Excellent technical expertise in accounting competencies ie. IFRS

·         Working knowledge and experience with parties in overseas.

·         Ability to supervise, direct, and coordinate the work of managers and staff, including across business units.
