Minor Education is our new business unit that will establish Asian Institute of Hospitality Management in academic association with Les Roches Global Hospitality Education. Set to launch in September 2020, with campuses in Bangkok and Chonburi in Thailand, the institute is poised to become the leading hospitality education facility in Southeast Asia and will offer certificates, diplomas and bachelor degrees in hospitality management in academic association with Les Roches.

Job Description

This role will be responsible for achieving the enrollment and revenue targets of the Minor Education projects under development by Minor Hotels, now and in the future. We continue to expand our capabilities in this area, with our current projects in Bangkok and Pattaya. Key is to be self-starter with a passion for working in an entrepreneurial, start-up.

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing; Communications or equivalent required. Master is a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in business development, education or hospitality related to sales & marketing field.
  • Understanding of sales culture, meeting deadlines, financial plans and commitments as expected in multinational business environment.
  • Excellent language skills, both written and spoken English. English is essential (and other languages are an advantage).
  • Self-motivated, a strong team player and able to work and adapt under pressure in an entrepreneurial, startup environment.
  • Strong sales & marketing, business acumen, leadership and analytical skills.
  • Strong understanding of the education market and all competitors and ability to regularly gather insights. 
  • Ability to develop and manage multiple strategic marketing projects throughout the year and at the same time a thorough understanding of setting sales & marketing objectives, tactics, and strategies.
  • Excellent organisation skills.
  • Happy to travel within the region and manage an irregular work schedule.
  • Customer centric approach. Able to build and maintain strong relationships with a network of partners.
  • Open, flexible, with critical and creative thinking skills.
  • Knowledge and expertise in  computer systems (MS Office, CRM, etc.).
