The Assistant Chief Engineer will oversee all aspects of building system/ property maintenance, including public space, rooms, kitchen and outlets, equipment’s, preventive-maintenance programs, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, landscape maintenance etc.. This role will work closely with the other members of the facilities team and contractors and 3-5 Years’ experience in the same role (5* Hotel).

It will be your responsibility to plan and manage all preventative maintenance work, new projects, extensions, and renovations. You will be involved in preparing the Engineering budget for the property, and will provide the Engineering knowledge for the hotel strategic and operational plans. You will monitor energy usage in the hotel, and implement initiatives to conserve energy wherever possible.

• College degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Five years operating experience in a similar capacity.
• Familiar with the operations and priorities of all other hotel operating departments.
• Familiar with the local government requirements and regulations.
• Passion for leadership.

• Candidate must have previous Engineering management experience in large (above 30-50 manning), upscale, full-service building/facility company. Strong technical skills in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, etc. Familiar with chillers, Kitchen Equipment’s, chemical treatments, control systems, water systems, boilers, refrigeration, compressors, etc.
