Job Description

  • Ensure Income Auditor submits on a daily basis all verified non-cash sales of the Resort for the prior day.
  •  For credit card transactions, ensure all approvals are in place and maintain an active folder for all amounts receivable. Follow up on collections in accordance with established procedures signed with the various credit card service providers. Variances must be investigated on an urgent basis.
  • For non-credit card transactions, invoices must be prepared, approved (if necessary depending on individual Resort set-up) and sent out to clients within two(2) working days of the transaction to ensure client has sufficient time for processing payment.
  •  Process and send out monthly Statement of Outstanding balances for all clients within two(2) working days after the end of each calendar month.
  • Monitor and follow up on all outstanding receivables in conjunction with the Credit Manager.
  • Ensure all collections are recorded and banked in within one working day after receipt subject to operational realities. Original receipts can only be issued (if client requests) upon confirmation that payment has been processed and cleared by the bank.
  •  All collections details must be updated into the Accounting System in a timely manner.
  • No adjustments or rebates are to be posted without prior approval in accordance with authority matrix.

Qualifications

  • Preferably with experience in the same position
  • Graduate of Accounting or Finance Management course
  • having a background in hotel industry will be an advantage
